Arizona "gold mines" for sale on eBay
If you have $20 million laying around, you can click on the "buy it now" button on eBay and pick up the Yellow Jacket and Phoenix "gold mines" in southern Arizona near Arivica.
As of this morning, no one's made an offer. But I do see that eBay changed its offer of 15% cashback if you bought using their MasterCard. The offer today is $25.

There's email traffic in the Arizona mining community raising questions about the title to the mining properties and how much gold the property might hold. So, before sinking your retirement savings into any mining operation, a little due diligence is in order.
The eBay sale ends on Sept. 11
$20 million might be a good price... as soon as I win the California lottery.
ReplyDeleteI'll take one, but I'll have to owe the cash. 20 mil, I would have already struck it rich to afford that, and if I was that rich, I wouldn't need to be more greedy to be more rich...
ReplyDeleteLOL, GCA owned the property after the bankruptcy court awarded it to them. Scott Goldstein, a principal in Galaxy Minerals (pump and dump) put it on eBay without owning it. What a scumbag. It has now been sold again.
ReplyDeleteAn anonymous comment was submitted yesterday that I hesitated to post as is, because it made harsh comments about a named individuals and company. Here's my edited version:

The Yellow Jacket is a typical small-vein mine with some high-grade lenses that make it interesting but have limited tonnage potential. When you consider the obstacles to putting it into even small-scale production, it isn't worth much. Why do otherwise intelligent folks think they are going to strike it rich on properties that have been explored for over a hundred years?
ReplyDeleteIf I had twenty million why would I be looking for a gold mine think about it
