The University of Arizona run HiRISE camera on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter photographed the UA's Phoenix Mars Lander sitting under a layer of frost on the Red Planet. [right, credit NASA/UA]
Wow, look at all that green forest (grassland?) around the lander (who knew Mars was so lush?) and still they managed to place it on the one rocky outcrop that was free of life. Well played geo-explorers! ;-)
