We are continuing to implement our policy of making everything digital, online, and interoperable with the release of the online interactive statewide geologic map of Arizona. The map may be viewed using a web browser, or viewed and queried using either Google Earth or ESRI's ArcGIS Explorer software.
Jonathan DuHamel recently profiled the map service in his Wry Heat column in the Tucson Citizen online newspaper.
Clicking on any unit on the map brings up a pop-up box with stratigraphic information about that unit.
