Is Rosemont buyout offer undervalued? Rival bids expected

Financial analysts are saying the HudBay buyout offer for Augusta Resources, parent of Rosemont Copper, "significantly undervalues Augusta" and is "very opportunistic," according to interviews in a story posted by Reuters.  The news agency says "Analysts expect rival bids to emerge, as they argue HudBay's current offer does not reflect the strategic value and advanced permitting status of the project."  [Right, Rosemont copper mine model. [Update 2-10-14, 3:35 pm]  The Financial Post analyzes the potential for a rival bid for Augusta, and provides names of possible contenders in a "brewing takeover battle."
