Glynn Burkhardt, long-time champion of small miners
Glynn Burkhardt, who served as president the Arizona Small Miner Operators Association for nearly forty years, died on February 27. Glynn was also founder and Chairman of the Board of United Mines Incorporated.
He was born in Miami, Arizona and started working for a copper mine at the age of 11. He is widely known for his passionate support of prospectors and indpendent miners. His funeral is today.
