A group of conservationists opposed to coal-fired electricity is calling for shutting down the Navajo Generating Station power plant in Page as a cost saving measure to owner SRP. Daily Sun, the study ignores the cost of losing nearly 1,000 jobs and eliminating royalties to the Navajo Nation.
