Rockfalls don't get much attention in Arizona but one northeast of Flagstaff last week injured a member of a radio tower work crew on Mt Elden, according to the
Daily (Flagstaff) Sun. The article reports that the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office saying the victims legs and pelvic are was crushed by a 30-ton boulder when he tried to move another large
boulder from Elden Lookout Road. [

There has been flooding, landslides, and other rockfalls in the region following heavy monsoon rains.
