Eastern Arizona experienced a rare
earthquake just after midnight today. The magnitude 3.7 event occurred 25 miles northeast of Clifton and near the border with New Mexico, hitting at 12:27 a.m. local time.
It was recorded by the Douglas AZ seismometer (Station 319A) in our broadband network creating a short sharp waveform at 07:27 UTC on the chart at left.
