San Andreas quake will shake Arizona as well

The Southern California Earthquake Center unveiled new simulations at their annual meeting, including a video showing that a rupture on the San Andreas fault, rolling south through southern California will shake that basin much more than previously thought. But when you watch the simulation, note that the ground shaking is heading into Arizona. I have to convince SCEC director Tom Jordan to run the simulation a bit longer and track the seismic waves across Arizona.
