"Arizona Mining Permitting Guide" published online

The new Arizona Mining Permitting Guide is available online for viewing and free downloading at the AZGS Document Repository. The 187-page report was compiled by Diane Bain at the Arizona Dept. of Mines and Mineral Resources, and replaces the Arizona Mining Summit: Guide to Permitting Mining Operations of March 1999. It was produced under contract to the Arizona office of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. AZGS is publishing and distributing the guide under the ADMMR logo. [on July 20, ADMMR will be formally consolidated with AZGS]

"The intent of this publication is to provide individuals and companies anticipating mineral exploration or mining in Arizona with a clear picture of the permitting process. This document is an honest attempt to present all the permits that may be required by a mining operator in Arizona."

Hard copies can be purchased at the AZGS offices in Tucson and Phoenix.
