Latest moves in the Florence copper project

The Florence Blade newspaper reports on the continuing fight by real estate interests to prevent Curis Resources from producing copper through an in situ leaching process under lands inside the city limits, and offers a summary of the arguments.

Curis is considering developing just the State Trust Lands, which, according to State Land Commissioner Maria Baier, could generate $150 million for the school trust. [Right, injection wells in Florence copper project from original test of the site. Credit, Curis Resources]
