The 59th Annual Tucson Gem & Mineral Show wraps up today with rave reviews from attendees - dealers, buyers, collectors, and the simply curious alike.
On the main floor of the show yesterday, I had numerous collectors tell me they thought the quality of specimens on display is getting better each year, pointing out the displays filling the Tucson Convention Center.
Any sense that this year's theme, "Fluorite: Colors of the Rainbow," would be prosaic, are put to rest within seconds of seeing the incredible range, variety, and quality that are everywhere.
I'm heading over now, to help staff the AZGS booth on the mezzanine. Stop by if you're at the show.
