Update on crocoite at Tucson mineral show

Last week I blogged about the recent discovery of a new crocoite pocket in the Adelaide mine in Tasmania and the interest it's generated in the mineral world.  The new specimens are on show this week at the Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Showcase.    The link I posted last week was to the 2010 find, not the Fall 2012 Red River discovery.    I stopped by the Adelaide Mine room at the Tucson City Center hotel this afternoon and got to see two display cases of these incredibly beautiful and delicate crystals which are being unveiled to the world at the Tucson show.

The company posted pictures from the Red River pocket on their website.
