Canadian-based uranium mining company Denison Mines Corp. announced that the Arizona Dept. of Environmental Quality is delaying issuing a permit for the Arizona 1 mine pending more information on concerns about dust from public roads from trucks. The company had not expected problems with its permits and as a result has reduced it production forecast by 340,000 pounds, representing what was anticipated from Arizona. The company's stock dropped 7% on the announcement. [right: Arizona 1 headframe, Denison Mines]
