The Arizona Division of Emergency Management's (ADEM) redesigned Web site, www.dem.azdem.gov, was launched July 1.
The site contains information on current disasters, training courses, hazard prevention, and disaster resources. Natural hazards covered include drought, earth fissures, earthquakes, thunderstorms/high winds, wildfires, and winter storms. I didn't find landslides and debris flows, two of the more frequent geologic hazards in Arizona. [right, flashflooding. Credit ADEM]
