Water managers have released enough water from Lake Powell since November to drop its level by 13 feet, with the water going to Lake Mead, raising its level by 10 feet. John says the release is part of a 7 state agreement to bring Lake Mead up to 1,105 ft by this spring, when Lake Powell is receiving snow pack runoff.
