Two small
earthquakes, magnitude 2.5 and 2.3 hit Lake Mead and the nearby shore, at 9:43 and 11:48 am this morning, local time. The locations are generally the same as similar events over the past several months, leading to speculation that they are the result of the reservoir filling with Colorado River spring and summer runoff.
