  1. Is there a good stratigraphic column available for this area?

  2. Ron, the following paper describes stratigraphy, but does not have a simple stratigraphic column.

Repenning, C.A., Cooley, M.E., and Akers, J.P., 1969, Stratigraphy of the Chinle and Moenkopi Formations, Navajo and Hopi Indian Reservations, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah: U.S. Geological Survey Professional Paper 521-B, 34 p., 2 plates.

There are no 1:24,000 scale geologic maps published in this area.
