Did East Valley see fireball on its way to Flagstaff?

The East Valley Tribune (Phoenix area) reports that many East Valley residents saw strange lights in the sky on Saturday night. Possible explanations offered are night-flying crop dusters and the ever-popular UFOs. No one mentioned fireballs or meteors.

The paper doesn't report what time all this went on, but residents of the Flagstaff - Sedona area report one and possibly two fireballs in the 10-11 pm time period.

Is it possible people in East Valley saw the fireball coming in from higher altitude on its way towards the Flagstaff area? [right, a fireball over the Czech Republic in 1999 imaged by a fish-eye camera. Credit, AMS Fireball Monitoring program]

I've posted twice on this event so far -

with links to local newspaper reports. It's starting to sound like there's more to the story than has been reported so far.
