The Mojave Daily News described numerous reports of a bright green fireball in the sky east of Kingman and crashing into the Peacock Mountains with a big flash of white or orange light.
They quote Lowell Observatory [right, Clark telescope, Lowell Observatory] spokesman Steele Wotkyns in Flagstaff as saying there were reports from Kingman to the New Mexico border of a flash in the sky Saturday night. Another astronomer at the observatory saw the 11 pm fireball and a second one about half an hour later.
