NASA extends Phoenix Mars Lander until it freezes
NASA extended the mission of the Phoenix Mars Lander today, saying it will operate the lander until it dies in the cold and dark of the Martian winter.
The mission has lasted 120 days so far, past the initially planned 90 days. The Lander team continues to dazzle the scientific community with new discoveries and observations.
