Navajo Mountain earthquake


A magnitude 3.3 earthquake hit the Navajo Mountain area along the Arizona-Utah border on Sunday evening about 9:40 p.m. [right, location shown by star]

The area has not had many recorded earthquakes previously but you can see regionally there are more active areas nearby.

    Yes, I was home at the time at the time and it happened right at 9:45 p.m. It was more like a wave-no dishes or windows rattling. It was still very scarey! Never want to feel that again!
