The Tucson Citizen newspaper has morphed into an online new media format, including a long list of volunteer bloggers. One I just found is "Wry Heat," written by "Jonathan DuHamel - Economic Geologist."
He describes the content as,
This blog will deal with science, mainly geology and climate change; energy, the environment, natural history of the Sonoran Desert, property rights, and the politics and policies that effect these issues. There will occasionally be an off-subject story or two.
