Copper price down 46%, stocks down 76% on average


An analysis by Mineweb.com today shows the price of copper has dropped 46.4% from its high, in line with other metals. The price of copper mining companies, are off 75.8% from their highs, with Arizona-based Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold and Southern Copper close to those drops.
