The University of Arizona College of Science is proposing expanding their Mineral Museum, with a new 3-story addition to the Flandrau Science Center [right, credit UA], where the museum is currently housed. Most of the UA Mineral Museum is in the basement of the Flandrau with temporary exhibits showcased on the main floor.
The proposal was presented to the College's Advisory Board on Friday, but I have not heard the results.
I would like to cast my vote for a big fat YES!
