Jeri Young, who runs the Arizona Broadband Seismic Network for AZGS, compiled all the earthquakes we identified for 2012. We put these into Microsoft's Layerscape software (easy to do from Excel spreadsheets) to create a short timeline showing where the earthquakes occurred through the year. The video starts at January 2012 and runs through January 2013. Dates are shown in the lower right corner of the screen. The size of the flashes correspond to the size of the earthquake.
Look for most events occurring in north central Arizona with the largest quakes north of Morenci in eastern Arizona as part of last Fall's swarm.

I'll have to find your historical earthquake video for some context. Without that perspective, I can only conclude meteorite impacts.
