If the inhabitants of Phoenix were gone, how long would it take for groundwater levels and desert rivers to recover?
Kristine Uhlman [right] of the UA Water Resources Research Center will appear on an upcoming "Life After People" episode on The History Channel (May 19, 7 pm locally) to answer that question with computer simulations.
