The
National Mining Association has released a "new and completely redesigned educational
tool
kit, which explains what minerals mean to America, the challenges facing
the U.S. mining sector and solutions to ensure the U.S. has long-term
supplies of the minerals we need to ensure national security and economic
prosperity."
Arizona is highlighted as having the second largest non-fuel mineral production in the U.S., behind Nevada.
