The winter storm has blanketed the Grand Canyon with snow yesterday. The National Park Service webcam provides a great view. Here's a snapshot from early this morning.

And that's the storm that cancelled my original flight. Right now, I may or may not make it to the geobloggers' dinner tomorrow night - I'm rescheduled for a flight this evening, but when flights start getting cancelled out of Durango, it can take days before they get back on schedule.
ReplyDeleteI was just up at the canyon last Friday! Day hiked to the bottom and back to the rim with my brother. Took the South Kaibab Trail.
