The Geological Society of America's Structural Geology and Tectonics Division Career Contribution Award for 2010 is going to UA geoscientist George Davis. [right, George in Navajo Sandstone in the Kaibab uplift, southern Utah]
The award will be given at the SG&T business meeting of the GSA annual meeting in Denver this year, Tuesday evening, November 2nd.
