A collection of Iceland volcano blog and news sites

GSA Connection, the e-magazine of the Geological Society of America, was sent out today with a compilation of excellent blogs, news sites, and other online resources covering the eruption in Iceland.   The blog post at "Starts with a Bang," for instance, offers amazing photos of lightning at the volcano, with a fascinating explanation of why the association occurs.    [right, NASA photo, taken March 24, 2010]

  3. Nice blog you have. A volcano is also located in Santorini. You can find out more about it at http://santorini-hotels.blogspot.com/ and also about this Greek island.
